Designed in partnership with Milja Bannwart of Studio Vuono, The Møssa is our most considered piece to date. Handcrafted in Brooklyn, it introduces a new material to House of Good: slip cast porcelain, chosen for its gentle strength.
Carefully formed in small batches, each vessel carries subtle variations in shape and finish, a mark of the hand and a guarantee of authenticity. Organic lines and a gently sculpted profile give The Møssa a quiet presence, revealing a slightly different character from every angle.
Designed with a dual identity and a lasting purpose, The Møssa is made to live on well beyond its first use. Once the candle has burned away, the vessel becomes a taper holder, pillar holder, or pedestal chalice, continuing its life as both functional object and sculptural form.
